ITD-Info: TurnItIn Maintenance – Sunday, 12th July and Sunday, 9th August

TurnItIn will be unavailable on the mornings of Sunday, 12th July 2009 and Sunday, 9th August 2009. NOTE: The TurnItIn system used at UNE is hosted by the Vendor at a remote location.

UNE has been notified of maintenance work being undertaken on TurnItIn between 1:00am and 1:00pm on 12th July and 1:00am and 5:00pm on 9th August.

As a result of these activities the University’s TurnItIn system will be unavailable. This means assignment cannot be submitted to the TurnItIn self-check during these maintenance windows. Electronic submissions of assignments to UNE will be available BUT any work submitted by Esubmission during that time will not be checked by TurnItIn until after the outage window.

NOTE: For any assignments that were due during these windows, the Unit Coordinators have moved the due date.

Please check the ITD Service Announcements web page regularly for information relating to ITD services interruptions and planned events.

To reiterate, for these scheduled maintenance windows, the following system will be impacted:-

The University’s TurnItIn system will be unavailable during the entire maintenance windows :-

· Date – Sunday, 12th July 2009, 1:00am – 1:00pm and

· Date – Sunday, 9th August 2009, 1:00am – 5:00pm
