RESOLVED - Slow Performance when accessing IT Systems

Monday, April 6th, 2009

THIS ISSUE HAS NOW BEEN RESOLVED (3.30PM)

ITD is currently experiencing significant problems with some services. These problems commenced over the weekend and technical staff attended on Sunday and are continuing to work to resolve the issues. The problems manifest themselves as very slow response when trying to connect to these services and access attempts may be rejected.  Already connected staff will not experience the same performance issues as those attempting to connect. The following services are affected:

  • HP TRIM (Records management )
  • T2 Alesco (HR system)
  • Academic DB
  • Equitrac
  • MyUNE, especially access to online units
  • And to some degree the UNE Web Site

ITD Database administrators and System Administrators are actively working to resolve the issue. Please accept our apologies for this outage and service levels will be resumed as soon as possible.

If you need to access your BLACKBOARD units, you can also try the direct link at http://olt.une.edu.au.

For e-submission, please try http://www.une.edu.au/esubmission.

Regards,

Brian Cameron
