A large number of emails entitled “URGENT EMAIL REVALIDATION NOTICE” were received on campus today, asking you to send your personal details, including passwords to an external email address.

This is a SCAM. Please delete the message - do not reply to it.

UNE’s email servers are currently experiencing some difficulties due to a significant amount of SPAM from off campus. This has resulted in the inability to email non UNE email addresses from a UNE email account. Both of ITD’s email servers are blocking the SPAM emails as quickly as possible and we hope that the work load will decrease soon so that we can resume normal email functionality.
