In case you missed out on an information booklet to Robb College during Open Day, we have uploaded an electronic version of “A School Leave’s Guide to Robb College”. The booklet is packed full of insight into the Robb experience which we believe tops off the UNE experience.

Are you a potential student?

If you are a potential student - soak up as much information as you can for your Open Day Experience Blog Competition entry. You can either do a blog or photo blog on UNExtra about your Open Day to win a great Get Set Up in Armidale pack, including great offers and gifts from local businesses, such as a funky picnic pack from Newcastle Permanent and a free an oil & filter service and safety check from Hardmans of Armidale, and gift vouchers for textbooks from the United Campus.

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had great holidays and are looking forward to a fun filled 2nd semester! The upcoming MB dates are as follows:

Sunday 3rd August - Basketball, Sport UNE
Sunday 17th August - Lawn Bowls, Armidale Bowling Club
Friday 29th August - Run Swim, Consett Davis, UNE Pool (5:30pm start)
Sunday 31st August - Touch Football, Bellevue

Note:

- We decided not to nominate for Water Polo due to Robb Ball Recovery (so we will have to try extra hard to maintain our leading position!)

- Dates for Netball and the Hodson Relay are yet to be determined.

So lets get out there and have some fun, everyone is welcome and it would be nice to see some new faces out on the field.

This blog will in the next few weeks become a glimpse and collection of your favorite love stories, news, events and of course; your source of gossip, hints and experiences from North, South and West court to ensure you’re in the know and keeping it real @ Robb – remember your mark will remain here, in the blog achieves for decades to come and look back on!

This space, the Robb College Blog is to replace the Robbers Newsletter but be assured it will have the usual favorite sections featured from Robbers to keep all of you out there updated on the news, reviews and reminders.

The Robbers Newsletter will also be continuing, however, it will cover upcoming events here at our great college – what to expect and hints to cope…

What new stuff will you see on this space?
Quotes, pictures, saying etc from your favorite blogging team; which consist of SHAPES reps, Resident Fellows, Academic Assistants and JCR position holders. That’s over 25 people to report back to you.

So after an event, check back here on the blog for a run down on what happen with classic moments and highlights from your friends and mine.

  To be held in the Junior Common Room (JCR), from 6pm.

Saturday 17th May 2008

• Netball - University of New England Competition To be held at Sport UNE Netball Courts: Games from 9am to 12pm.

• Rugby - New England Rugby Union Competition Robb College Vs St Alberts College To be held at Bellevue Oval, UNE.

• The 21st Annual Art and Craft Exhibition
  will be open from 10am-2pm Cost gold coin donation.

• The 21st Annual Parent Student Ball
  To be held at the Wright Centre, University of New England
  6:30pm for 7:00pm Buses will be leaving from the information centre
  1st bus - 6:15pm, and
  2nd bus -6:45pm.
  Parking is discourage, as limited parking is available.
  There will be busses returning to the information centre from 12:30am.

Sunday 18th May 2008

  To be held in the Robb College Court yard from 9:30 am.
