Members and Fellows of RCNA are eligible to apply for a number of grants, funding for which has been made available to RCNA from benefactors. Further information can be found here.
The Nursing Board of Victoria Legacy Limited Grants are managed by RCNA and are open to nurses working in the state of Victoria.
RCNA manages the nursing scholarships funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing. Scholarships are open to all eligible applicants and it is not necessary to be an RCNA member to apply.
Aged Care Nursing Scholarships provide funding for nurses working in aged care facilities to undertake postgraduate study and continuing professional development activities. Scholarships are also available for undergraduate study and nurse re–entry programs for people with an interest and commitment to work in aged care.
RCNA administers the nursing component of the Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship Support Scheme which provides funding for undergraduate and postgraduate study, professional development and clinical placements. The allied health component is administered by Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health.
The Puggy Hunter Memorial Scholarship Scheme is also administered by RCNA on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing and offers nursing and health scholarships to Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islanders.
