Video Diarist – access all areas in your chance to shine

A new online reality TV series with a major Employer that is aimed at giving students and young professionals a look at what the pinnacle of leadership and achievement is really like.

 

They are looking to recruit a Video Diarist to star in the online show that will be an “access all areas” look at the life of a CEO – the challenges, the highs, the lows and the day to day realities.

 

The campaign and first series of the show will be launching in August/September 2011, an exclusive opportunity exists for a student to star in the show.

 

As the Video Diarist, the selected student will be given unparalleled access to a CEO to understand and document (with the help of a film crew) the realities of life at the top. They will mix in the highest echelons of business and be party to board room conversations previously reserved for those only at the top of the game. Better yet, they will be paid a salary for their term as the Diarist.

Skretting Australia is the leading supplier of high quality aquaculture feeds and support service to fish farmers in Australia and New Zealand. We are part of the global Skretting business that has sales in over 20 countries and production plants in all major aquaculture production regions of the world. Skretting is a division of Nutreco, one of the world’s leaders in animal nutrition. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to join our team.

You will have responsibly for development, documentation and positioning of a wide range of aquaculture feed products and services to an industry that is fast growing and energetic. You will work at the frontline identifying new product opportunities and delivering innovative products and concepts to Australian and New Zealand aquaculture customers. You will coordinate the local R&D program and develop product documentation to support our sales efforts and you will manage internal programs relating to product design and development activities.

You will participate in product management teams where you can both extend your knowledge and share best practice with other dynamic product mangers, researchers and specialists from the Skretting global team. You will work closely with our sales team to set and routinely monitor product objectives and opportunities and support our sales team with product knowledge training.

 

To be considered for this role you should have:

  • Tertiary qualification in animal nutrition, animal science and/or health
  • Sound business judgment and strong quantitative analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and be comfortable delivering industry seminars and presentations
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Familiarity with R&D related to animal production
  • Several years experience in animal feed manufacture or supply of animal  nutritional ingredients

The position will report to Skretting Australia Marketing Manager and be based at Cambridge, Tasmania (10 minutes outside of Hobart). A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
