If you’re looking for a software upgrade you might be interested in Microsoft’s latest offer to Australian university students.

You can purchase Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 for one year for $25 or a lifetime licence for $75

Microsoft® Office Ultimate 2007 includes the following applications: Access™ 2007, Excel® 2007,InfoPath® 2007,Groove 2007,OneNote® 2007, Outlook® 2007 with Business Contact Manager*, PowerPoint® 2007, Publisher 2007, Word 2007.

To take advantage of the offer you must be a currently enrolled student. To run the software you’ll need a PC with either Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista. You will  need to order and pay for the software online (credit cards only) and then you can either download the software or pick up a CD from the IT Service Desk. Microsoft will send the installation key to your UNE email address.

Remember: If you’re planning to download the software remember it’s over 500 MB!!!
