Sue Whale worked in the Faculty Office – Research at UNE for almost eight years, before taking on the role of Educational Developer in the School in May 2010. Sue has recently completed a Masters of Commerce (Management) through UNE and is now undertaking a Masters in Learning and Development through USQ.
Naomi Blackburn Before joining the Educational Development Team, Naomi was a graphic designer at TRaMS (Training Resource and Multimedia Studio) in Armidale where her role was to help develop and coordinate the design of educational software and support systems.
For the last two years Naomi worked as the Production Assistant within the Production Team at The Graduate School of Business (GSB). Within her role Naomi worked alongside the Production Editor and Desktop Publisher creating unit material (print and online) for 36 units per trimester. Naomi successfully implemented the use of social media to market the GSB including, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. These sites were also set up to help engage in student networking for the school. Naomi has a keen interest in this area and hopes to use social media as a tool in online learning.
Naomi graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Communication Studies major in Media and Culture and recently completed a Graduate Certificate of ARTS from UNE. Naomi has also completed her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110 and TAA40104 from UNE Partnerships this year.
