Cease not to learne until thou cease to live
Friday, May 27th, 2011The 50th anniversary of Dixson Library’s opening in May 1961 has been marked by the launch of an exhibition titled “Cease not to learne until thou cease to live”.
The exhibition was officially opened by the Deputy Chancellor, Mr Scott Williams on Friday, 27 May.
It traces the Library’s history from the foundation of the New England University College in 1938 through to the present day.
Attending the exhibition launch were the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Jim Barber, and many former and current staff and supporters of the Library.
The exhibition is located on the Ground Floor of the Dixson Library and will remain open until October 2011.
