Reminder : Disposal of dead print journal runs replicated in JSTOR online archives

Library administration has approved the disposal of print journal runs from the collection where the particular journals are no longer current subscriptions, and  our print holdings are completely duplicated in the existing JSTOR archive collections to which UNE subscribes.  Removal of these titles will free substantial shelf space and allow our collection to continue to grow in both print and electronic resources for the future.

Please browse the journal titles at http://www.une.edu.au/library/services/staff/jstor_da.php  to see if there are closed journal runs which your school or department would like to transfer to your own building/s. It is understood that any transferred titles will be housed in a central reading room, available and accessible to students and academic staff, and not in private offices. The lists include an estimate of the amount of shelf space required for each title for your consideration if planning to rehouse any titles.

Staff interested in transferring any print volumes to their buildings should contact Robyn Warwick, Collection Services Librarian, on ext. 3750, or David Bioletti, Shelving Coordinator, on ext. 3421, before 30th  June 2009.
