Men’s health is emerging as an important field of research and policy development both in Australia and overseas. Increasingly it is a topic of great interest to educators, health practitioners, policy makers and social scientists.
Recently, colleagues for UNE (Professor Victor Minichiello and Associate Professor John Scott) and La Trobe University (Professor Gary Dowsett) collaborated as Guest Editors of the recently published Special Issue of Health Sociology Review.
The issue includes nine papers from researchers in the field of men’s health from the USA, Canada, UK, and Australia, with the foreword from the Governor of Victoria, a prominent medical researcher and practitioner in men’s reproductive health.
You can view the papers via the following web link –
The Special Issue will be formally launched in Melbourne and a date will be confirmed as soon as we receive a response from the Prime Minister’s office.
