There is an alternative - you can scan articles/chapters to pdf using the MFD printers found in the library (and in the college computer room) and print them out later.
- On the left hand side of the control panel, press the “scanner” button.
- On the touch screen, press the “scan to email” box.
- Touch screen - press the blue “username” box.
- Enter your U.N.E. username on the touch screen keyboard that appears.
- Enter your U.N.E. password the same way.
- Press the “login” box on the touchscreen.
- OPTIONAL: Press the “Doc Name” box on the top right of touch screen and enter the name you want to give the document then press ok.
- If necessary, press the “scan settings” box on the touch screen, and set as appropriate.
- Place pages, in order, in reader. If you have loose pages you can use the form feeder.
- Press the “start” button (right hand side of control panel) to scan each page or start form feeder. At the end of the document press the # button (bottom right of control panel) to end the scanning of this document.
- Repeat with other documents or press the logout box on the touchscreen.
