About ALEA Northern NSW
The Australian Literacy Educators’ Association is dedicated to the improvement of literacy development and language learning at all levels. It provides support and professional development to educators and others interested in literacy through international, national, state and regional conferences, workshops and seminars, journals, position papers and other publications.
ALEA is comprised of a National Executive and Council, State Councils and Local Councils In NSW, we currently have three Local Councils: Sydney North LC; South Coast LC; and Northern NSW LC.
ALEA Northern NSW is the local branch that services teachers and schools from Tweed Heads to the Central Coast and Western NSW.
